i think his point is that we should try not to let 5 BI bother b/c once we have more experience and start picking up the hand volume teh 5 BI swings are going to be very frequent, and its going to cost you money if you can't stay on your A-game when they occur. just another aspect of the game to work on as well as proper strategy.
